About the Role
We’re hiring a Software Engineer to help build the core product experience of our AI-first tax platform. As an early hire, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the core architecture and features of our innovative AI-powered tax platform from its inception. This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to a fast-paced, AI-first startup, working across our applications to build a robust, intelligent, and intuitive user experience that will redefine tax preparation.

What You’ll Do
Be at the cutting-edge of building the AI-first tax prep platform of the future
Focus on building out our core user experiences
Work closely with the founding team to build out our product roadmap
Apply our AI-driven tax data throughout our platform
Be comfortable operating across our entire stack and product lifecycle end-to-end
What We’re Looking For
You have experience building and scaling user-facing web apps
You’ve worked with a variety of web frameworks (frontend and backend)
You have strong product intuition and attention to detail
You love being focused on solving customer problems and delivering the most value to them
Bonus Points
Working with AI products and tools
Working with ETL pipelines or managing data at scale
Working at fast-paced startups with product-led growth
Experience in the tax, accounting, or fintech space
Tech we use
Frontend: React, Remix (React Router)
Backend: Typescript, Node.js (Fastify), Postgres, Weaviate
Infra: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow
