- Job postings: job descriptions, salary ranges, and company details submitted by employers.
- Application data: records of jobs you apply to and their status.
- Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details on our servers.
- Usage data: pages visited, device type, browser information, and general interaction patterns to help us improve the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your data based on contract performance (operating your account and providing the service), your consent (where applicable), and our legitimate business interests (improving the platform and preventing abuse).
Specifically, we use the information we collect to:
- Operate and maintain the ReRole platform
- Connect job seekers with relevant job opportunities based on skills
- Allow employers to review applications and candidate profiles
- Process payments for job sponsorships
- Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, application updates)
- Improve the platform and develop new features
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With employers: when you apply to a job, the employer can view your profile, skills, and uploaded documents.
- With service providers: we use Stripe for payment processing and Supabase for authentication and data storage. These providers have their own privacy policies.
- For legal reasons: if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

ReRole uses the following third-party services:

- Himalayas: some job listings are sourced from Himalayas. See their privacy policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax purposes (such as payment records).

- Correction: update or correct inaccurate information.
- Deletion: request that we delete your personal data.

ReRole is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
